A Midsummer Dream of Dance and Water
In the heart of summer, on an island shaped by sea and fire, we gather to dance life.
Ischia offers its warmth, its light, and its ancient thermal waters as a natural embrace — a space where the body remembers its original harmony.
Through Biodanza and Aquatic Biodanza, we enter a week of deep presence, shared humanity, and gentle transformation.
Movement becomes a ritual of joy, water a space of trust and surrender, and each day unfolds as an invitation to inhabit life more fully.
This retreat is an offering of time, beauty, and connection — a midsummer dream lived with open senses and an open heart.

the Place
Our stay will be at Casa Michelangela, a charming family-run hotel perched on a hilltop, where breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and the town of “Casamicciola Terme” create a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and renewal.
When
We will begin the Biodanza workshop at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, 1 August, with a welcome Biodanza session before dinner. We will conclude with a farewell session on the morning of Saturday, 8 August, or alternatively, on the evening of Friday, 11 August, depending on the group’s departure times the following morning.

What we do.
Each day includes at least one Biodanza session, typically at sunset, and sometimes also in the morning. We will also enjoy Aquatic Biodanza sessions in the thermal pool, dancing under the stars in the night. During free moments, a hotel shuttle will Casamicciolay to the beach, allowing time to enjoy the sun, relax by the sea, and explore the charming town of Casamicciola Terme and its surroundings.
Rooms and Cuisine
Casa Michelangela will be exclusively reserved for our group. The rooms are charming, simple, and well cared for, each with a private bathroom, TV, and telephone. Single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms are available, many of them featuring panoramic sea-view terraces that offer a truly enchanting landscape. The cuisine is truly excellent, featuring traditional dishes from Ischia. We will enjoy a half-board arrangement.
⚠ Please note: the hotel has only 11 rooms, for a total of about 30 beds. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred accommodation.
How to Get There
Once you arrive in Naples (by plane or train), head to Calata Porto di Massa (for ferries) or Molo Beverello (for hydrofoils).
From Naples Airport, the most convenient option is the ALIBUS shuttle, which runs approximately every 20 minutes, costs €5, and makes no intermediate stops.
From Napoli Centrale train station (Piazza Garibaldi), take Metro Line 1 and get off at the Municipio stop. From there, walk about 500 meters to the port and take a hydrofoil.
If you prefer not to use public transportation, both regular taxis and shared taxis are available and can help reduce costs.
Ferries / Hydrofoils
During the summer, connections to Ischia are very frequent, both from Naples and Pozzuoli.

If you are traveling without a vehicle, there is usually no need to book hydrofoil tickets in advance, and even less so for ferries, which are larger and have greater capacity.
Simply arrive at the port with some time in advance and purchase your ticket on the same day.
Once you arrive at the Port of Casamicciola Terme, the hotel shuttle will pick you up free of charge (please call ahead).
Shuttle Service (an excellent alternative to taxis!)
The shuttle service will be available free of charge on the day of arrival and departure, taking us from the port to the hotel and vice versa, with considerable savings on taxi costs!
It is also available every day of the week at a low cost (0.5 euro per trip if the car is full) to take us comfortably to the centre of Casamicciola – and back to the hotel – at set times.

A Biodanza teacher for 30 years, a direct student of the creator of Biodanza, founder and director of the Biodanza school in Naples (Italy) and codirector of the School Costa del Sol of Malaga (Spain), having worked in many European countries, as well as in the United States, South America and South Africa.
